Position Duties:
Perform engineering duties in the design and drafting of civil engineering projects such as land subdivisions, site development, grading, paving, drainage system, sewer collection system and water distribution system. Specific duties include: Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects; Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in design stages; Provide cost estimates for earthworks, materials, equipment, or labor to determine a project’s economic feasibility; Use Autodesk’s Civil 3D software to generate complete plans for construction; Use Primavera Project Planner to generate construction schedule; Prepare Drainage Report with hydraulics and hydrology calculations.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor in Civil Engineer
Two years experience
Prior experience must include: Creating construction drawings for commercial properties, including strip retail centers, restaurants, apartments complexes, medical hospitals/facilities, and single-family homes; Performing drainage calculations, including preparation of drainage area maps and perform hydraulic analysis for storm drains; Creating grading plans with proper slope tolerances across the site that area acceptable to the appropriate jurisdiction and regulations; Designing site utilities including water and sewer design; and Using AutoCAD Civil 3d to produce design drawings for construction plans, including using pipe networks and civil 3d tools to design utilities and grading for sites.
